Different banks offer different facilities to be sure to fully understand what's on offer before opening an account so remember to find out
- If there's a branch near you
- If they have online banking
- What are the overdrraft fees.. And how much do they charge you if you go over tyour limit
- How much interest you will earn if you are in credit
- If they can automatically transfer money to and from a high interest account if you go over or under a specified threshold
- If they charge you for having the account or if the banking is free
